Seashore inn washington12/20/2023 ![]() The housekeeping could be a little better, the cleaned our room each day and changed towels, but I don't think the actually cleaned the bathroom each day because there was still sand in the tub when we came back to our room. The front desk staff were great, very helpful, even looked up movie times for us. You are right by the main street, so we walked to eat each day and went to arcade and mini golf. Which was really nice, great tempature and the hot tub was big and very relaxing. We went out on the beach each day and played and then came back an got into the pool. You are right on the promanade and right on the beach. My son had plenty of room to play in the room, when we were in our room. However, it was very comfortable, we had a balcony room and the view was awesome! It had a microwave and small fridge with freezer area. If you are looking for "spectacular" room, this isn't it. I think it is the best value for the money. I have always wanted to go to the Oregon Coast in August, but didn't want to pay the high price of the hotel rooms. Overall, if the most important thing to you is an ocean view but you don't have a lot to spend, this is probably a good fit. As others have noted, the "free continental breakfast" consisted of pre-packaged muffins, coffee and juice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but there was an vaguely unpleasant smell of old cooking odors in the room that was still hanging around after two days. Not quite what we were expecting for a "deluxe" room. ![]() The well-equipped kitchen aside, the rooms are generic with cheap furnishings. Probably built in the late '60s or early '70s, and looks a bit worn and tired. An indoor heated pool and whirlpool were very nice features, but the main attraction was being able to look out over the ocean from our room and listen to the waves. The motel is located right on the beach and just a block off the main street in Seaside. For $120 a night we got a top floor oceanview room with full kitchen (minus an oven) and a (very tiny) deck. ![]() Spent two nights at the Seashore Inn and would consider a decent value. ![]()
